Ahmad Nawash
Ahmed Nawash is a Palestinian visual artist (born in Ein Karem, Jerusalem, in 1934). He obtained a diploma from the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome in 1964, graduating with distinction. He studied stone engraving (lithography) at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Bordeaux, France. He held three exhibitions in Rome, as well as exhibitions in Baghdad in 1966 and Damascus in 1967, and has held more than ten solo exhibitions in Amman.
